Faculty/PI Survey

A faculty impact survey was designed at the request of faculty during the CISE REU PI Meeting in 2012. The survey measures the impact of working with REU sites on faculty careers and research productivity. Institutional Review Board approval was obtained in December 2012, and the survey was conducted in December 2012 – January 2013. Findings from the survey will be presented at the CISE REU PI Meeting in March 2013, held in Philadelphia, PA. The slide presentation is available on this website, in the “reporting” section (see menu left). The survey will be deployed again in Fall 2014, with additional measures of mentoring activity and site organizational structure.
